Charlie is the owner and principal of Stream Engineering, LLC. Bringing over 25 years of manufacturing expertise to the firm, he has worked for several wire and cable manufacturers in various markets - automotive (Prestolite), fiber optics (Lucent), and power cable (Southwire). A patent holder in manufacturing equipment, Charlie's machine designs can be found in all sorts of places - from spark plug wire testers and cable reel payoffs to peanut dump carts and scented candle conveying elevators. Additionally, he has designed and managed numerous large scale industrial equipment installations, process water systems, and storm water collection systems. Charlie also has extensive experience installing and maintaining plant process piping systems. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee and has worked on a variety of interesting structural projects throughout the Southeast. When not spending free time with his family, you can usually find him on his tractor.
After graduating from West Georgia Technical College, Greg began his engineering career in 1973 with the civil engineering department of Southwire Company. He independently studied structural design and worked on increasingly more complex projects until retiring as a senior structural designer. Greg has used CAD software since the early 1980's, and was a drafting instructor at West Georgia Technical College's Carrollton and Waco campuses.
For over a decade, Greg has operated a freelance drafting service and has had the opportunity to work on many fascinating projects in the area, including the Carroll County Justice Center and the Greenway Medical facility. He has a strong and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and is an ordained minister.
